The Golden Suites date back to 1770 and 1850 and were the personal rooms of Maharawal Moolrajji and Maharawal Barisal Singhji respectively. The Golden Suites have yellow stone interiors which reflect the décor prevalent in that period.
The Surya Mahal Suites were built in 1914 by Maharawal Jawahir Singhji as part of his personal rooms. These suites have private balconies and give a majestic view of the Jaisalmer Fort.
